Demonstrations
Three Swords Fencing Club is available to give a fencing demonstration to your class or group. The demonstration will include:
• A live fencing bout
• A brief history of fencing
• The three weapons of modern fencing
• An overview of fencing rules
• Discuss safety and equipment
• Some notable personalities in fencing
• Describe how a fencing competition works
• and provide resources for further study.
The entire program will last approximately 30 minutes, followed by an informal question and answer session with an opportunity for participants to get a closer look at the weapons and gear used in modern fencing. This is an exciting way to introduce for your group to fencing gain an understanding of the modern sport.
Cost: a $50 donation to the club resource fund.
